Our team

Shane Green
Managing Director
Prior to establishing AVG, Shane was a General Manager with Australia’s largest and fastest-growing veterinary consolidator. Throughout this journey, he supported over 50 practices across Western Australia, South Australia and Singapore. Having joined in 2017, he gained significant experience and learnings from being part of one of the earlier consolidators in the sector. He was also responsible for the largest membership-based buying group in Australia, providing valuable insights to support you in partnering with wholesalers and manufacturers.
In addition to his experience within the Veterinary Sector, Shane also brings a background in Psychology and extensive experience as a leader within the broader healthcare sector. He has previously led a variety of healthcare businesses, ranging from Injury Rehabilitation, Occupational and Primary Healthcare in both public and private sectors. This provides a unique perspective on how we can collaborate to be at the forefront of making a positive transformation to the sector and it's wellbeing.

Adrian FIORE
Director
Adrian's expertise in business, investment, and growth strategies make him a valuable partner to family offices and other investors around Australia. His dedication to helping businesses succeed and his commitment to delivering results make him a trusted advisor to his clients. In addition to his work with family offices, Adrian is also an active member of the investment community, where he shares his insights and expertise with other professionals. He is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the industry, and he uses this knowledge to help his clients achieve their investment objectives.
Throughout his career, Adrian has held various leadership positions in the private equity sector, where he has overseen successful investments in a variety of industries. He has a proven track record of identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, developing strategic plans to maximize returns, and executing those plans to drive growth and profitability.
In addition to his role at AVG, Adrian is the Managing Director of Agem Property Group, building an impressive portfolio of assets under management in Perth and surrounds. Adrian holds a degree in finance from a leading University and is an active member of several professional organizations. He holds a Diploma in Property Services (Agency Management) and is an authorised representative of the AFSL held by APG Finance Services Pty Ltd.

Business Support Manager
Hayley sweeney
Hayley comes to us from a varied background. She has over 20 years of experience in business administration, customer service and client care. She has a passion for change management, team building and social media, along with experience in Debt Management, Accounts Receivable/Payable and Payroll.
Hayley has a talent for improving operational efficiencies by implementing clear, concise processes to ensure efficient outcomes for the business and customers. Most recently, she has applied these skills to great success within the veterinary sector for a large consolidator, achieving improved operational performance, customer engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Growing up in the Northern Territory, she developed a passion for Australia's native animals, community-based projects and businesses, complementing her current role at AVG. She has extensive experience in multi-faceted roles, enabling her to adapt to businesses changing needs, resulting in several awards throughout her career, including leadership and sales awards.
Hayley believes our greatest changes can start from the smallest step.

Management Accountant
Rachel Velez Ventura
With over 10 years of experience across diverse areas of accounting, Rachel brings a wealth of expertise and a strong strategic mindset to our business. Her background includes a broad spectrum of roles in Taxation, Business Services, Bookkeeping, and Financial Control, making her a valuable asset to both our team and the clinics we support.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a Double Major in Accounting and Finance and is currently in the final stages of achieving her CPA qualification, further demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence and ongoing learning.
Throughout her career, Rachel has developed a deep passion for streamlining operations and enhancing business efficiency. She has successfully led the implementation of a variety of systems and applications that have helped businesses reduce complexity, improve reporting, and ultimately reach their goals. Her most recent experience in the labour-hire and recruitment sectors has equipped her with a strong working knowledge of payroll compliance, award interpretation, and the intricacies of managing larger and mobile workforces.
Rachel believes that accounting is about much more than just numbers. She sees financial data as a powerful tool that, when paired with a holistic understanding of business operations, can guide smarter decisions and sustainable growth.

Clinical Director
Dr Jasmin Phua
With over 17 years of experience in companion animal practice, Jasmin brings a wealth of clinical and leadership expertise to her role as Clinical Director at AVG. Originally from Singapore, she moved to Australia in 2001 to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine, graduating from Murdoch University in Perth in 2007.
Since then, she has worked extensively in both Singapore and Perth, gaining a deep understanding of diverse veterinary practices and client expectations. Jasmin’s leadership journey began in 2018, when she took on a senior management role at a newly established veterinary clinic. Under her guidance, the clinic evolved into a high-performing, trusted practice known for its exceptional care and collaborative team culture.
Jasmin is passionate about gold-standard patient care, building lasting client relationships, and ensuring veterinary teams feel supported, valued, and safe. She is known for her clear, compassionate communication style and a leadership approach rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and high clinical standards. At AVG, she is committed to cultivating a progressive, mentally healthy workplace where veterinary professionals thrive—and where every pet receives the best possible care.

Clinical Director
Dr Jules walker
With over 16 years of dedicated experience in small animal practice, Dr. Jules brings a wealth of clinical expertise and compassionate leadership to our veterinary team. As Clinical Director, she oversees the medical standards and operational excellence of our practice, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care.
Throughout her career, Dr. Jules has cultivated a strong reputation not only as a skilled veterinarian but also as a supportive mentor and team leader. In her previous role she played a key role in guiding veterinary teams, managing administrative operations, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment for both staff and clients.
Her professional interests include preventative medicine, client education, and team development. Known for her approachable manner and thoughtful problem-solving, Dr. Jules is passionate about supporting pet owners and helping younger veterinarians grow in confidence and skill.
Outside the profession, she owns an horse and enjoys eventing and show jumping. She is a huge fitness fanatic, training and competing in HYROX. Dr Jules owns two very energetic but adorable Jack Russell Terriers.
